What is the fashion now for summer in Egypt??

Question

What kind of tops, dresses, skirts, bermudas, footwear?? I don't mind looking unique, but I don't want to look completely out of place. Oh ya and also, what are some suggestions for clothes to wear in Cairo without disrespecting religion when it's blistering hot? Usually we used to go to Alexandria and The north coast and stuff but now we're going to Cairo.

I would dress conseratively, in capris and kaftans and dresses with big skirts like from the 50s. Hot means dusty too, so make sure you have sunglasses. I keep a scarf in my bag to throw over my shoulders if I enter an overly air-conditioned place. Just be classy and a little modest but dead chic!

wear cotton day and night .

T-shirts are comfortable .

the pants shouldnt be too tight for your comfort and for decency's sake .

wear sandals to ventilate your feet.

take a cap to protect your head from the sun.

apply sunblock to protect your skin.

there isnt a particular fashion in egypt like we have in the U.S or U.K.....wear cotton kaftans, cotton skirts, cotton t shirts, linen trousers (white), cut off cargos, comfy flip flops or sandals, sunglasses and a big bag for suncream,water,money,tissues etc.

My fave outfit would prob be white linen trousers and a white kaftan with big bag, flip flops, shades and sun hat! u will stay cool in an outfit like this as well as looking respectable and nice..have fun
