I am turning the boards over on my deck because they have started to cup and hold rain water. I am also sanding and staining them. The deck is about 18 months old and has never been stained. The boards are #2 pressure treated pine, 5/4th x 6 inch. All of the boards have a slight warp to them and will not line up when placing them down next to each other on the deck. I am using a pipe clamp by reversing the two ends of the clamp on the pipe so that they face away from each other and placing the pipe and clamp in between the board and a large 2 x 6 screwed to the joists to force the boards to straighted out before I s***w them in place. Is there an easier and faster way to do this?
