What is the fastest production helicopter?

The Commanche's max cruise speed is 175 knots. Are there any others that are faster? I'm talking production helicopters, not specially modified ones or the tiltrotor.

Take in mind ,As the forward speed of the helicopter increases, a region near the blade roots on the retreating side actually experiences a reversed flow. Combined with the large blade incidence on the retreating side, as forward speed increases, the blades approach a stalled condition. At the same time, regions near the tips on the advancing side experience a very high velocity flow, approaching the point where shock waves form, leading to shock induced flow separation. Due to these limiting factors, the maximum forward speed of a helicopter is limited to about 250

if you consider Commanche a "production" helicopter then find something about the Cheyenne that was a helicopter having push-prop to increase its speed. it was approx same production batch size as the commanche - that is: experimental

Mi 24Hind makes maximum level/shallow dive flight 180kts, reportedly surviving up to 200 kts from steep dive during Afghanistan war. The russian crews were using Hi-lo-hi tactics to avoid the small arms fire so they attacked the known targets from above using a steep dive.

The Apache has a maximum speed of 182 mph

The Westland Lynx tops at 201 mph

The Kamov KA-50 tops at 204 mph

The Commanche is not a production helicopter. It never went past the test phase.

Westland Lynx helicopter (modified version holds absolute record) , it's production models are still up there around 175 knots.

The AH-1 (twin engine model) has a top speeds of 190 knots. Those are the only ones I know off hand.

edit: removed AH-64 Apache, I cited the never exceed speed, it can't do 197 knots on it's own, only 158.

They all are right but one thing I know that the fastest for me the one which i fly and it is AW 139 with the cruise speed of 160 knots and the best of all what i have flown so this is what the truth is, isnt it.

The Lynx is currently the fastest production helicopter but Sikorsky are working on the X2, capable of speeds up to 250 knots (290mph):
