  1. Chris G got it right....   but the j*p bikes are limited to         297 KPH...

MV Agusta F4 has the same top speed as well...

try this link...  lots of bikes & specs..

  2. Apparently most sports bikes will only reach 300km/h. This is as far as their speedometers go anyway...

MV Augusta have crossed the line with the 312R: with the 312 being top speed in km/h.

I am sure the Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaxi ZX-14 and Ducati 1098 (and others) are all capable of exceeding 312 but the manufacturers don't advertise the fact.

  3. MY FLHX

  4. according to the references below, it is the Vincent Black Shadow

  5. John got it. It's the MTT.

  6. In a James Bond movie they dropped a motorcycle from an airplane and it reached almost 400 mph

  7. The Vincent Black Shadow was the fastest vehicle of any kind in 1950.  It was not just the fastest bike, it was faster than any production car!  Top speed: around 100 mph.

Today the fastest bike is either the Suzuki Hayabusa or the Kawasaki ZX14.  One might be slightly faster than the other but as they say on Top Gear, 'as near as makes no difference'.

  8. MTT Turbine Superbike, also known as Y2K Turbine Superbike, is the world's second wheel driven motorcycle powered by a turbine engine, created by Ted McIntyre of Marine Turbine Technologies Inc. Powered by a Rolls Royce Allison 250 series turboshaft engine, producing 238kW (320hp), this motorcycle has a recorded top speed of 227 mph (365 km/h), with a price tag of US$150,000. It is recognized by Guinness World Records as the "Most powerful production motorcycle" and the "Most expensive production motorcycle".Unlike other contemporary motorcycles(such as the Hayabusa), 2001 and later models of MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE do not have the 300 km/h speed limit self-imposed by Japanese manufacturers

They will give you a pretty good run

  9. ZX14, soon to be the VMAX
