I mean - the record is now 9.9 seconds - almost 1 whole second faster that 100 years ago. How much further can we go??

  1. If Tyson g*y stood on a car going 35-40 mph with 70 mph wind at the cars back then jumped off the side of the car and landed mid-stride on the ground without falling down and started running at about 35-40 mph with that much wind at him back and ran 100m without slowing down he would get a quite impressive time. maybe like 6 or 7 seconds

  2. ive also thought this question. athletes are always getting bigger, better, faster, stronger. eventually, i think high school athletes will be running olympic time trials on a regular basis. i think it has to do with the way people set goals. jesse owens was the fastest in the world until someone set a goal to beat his time. when that person beat owens suddenly the impossible was possible and more people started running that time. i know it's a little confusing but that's how i see it. Until someone actually accomplishes a certain time in the 100m, it seems impossible. but little by little, and milisecond by milisecond, people are going to get faster because they realize they can run that fast.

  3. the record is 9.72s and fastest is 9.68s

  4. The record is 9.72 by Usain Bolt of Jamaica, the fastest ever ran was Tyson g*y USA in 9.68 with an illegal wind, 9.6X is possible but that's where it will stop!
