What is the fastest way possible of getting a 215MB download with dial-up connection?

Well, there are numerous download boosters that help regulate and speed up the downloading process. Other than that, just hope that you have a fair amount of Ram. That tends to help downloads as well.

Get firefox.  It has resumable downloading, so you can resume where you left off, even after you shut down and reboot.

Alternatively do as suggested and ask for the cd.

Not all downloads can be resumed regardless of whether you are using firefox or a download manager. Most can, but for example files off rapidshare often do not allow resuming.

Call Apple and see if they can send it to you on CD. Basically there is no "fast" way to download a 215MB file on dial up - if there was a lot of people would use dail up instead of cable.

Alterantively you could purchase Parallels or VMware as a boxed copy since they both allow you to run Windows on your Intel Mac.
