What is the fastest way to convert a PAL DVD to NTSC?

Got some Family Videos on DVD from Europe, I need to Convert then to NTSC to play on my old Sony DVD player.

I would like a quick fix, like just a edit of the ifo's? or do I need

to fully convert them, Like reauthor them, would DvD Shrink do it?

I think you'll find that Shrink will do it OK actually once you get stuck into the settings. Vobedit will sort out any messing with authoring you have to do if you keep it all in DVD format. If you were to rip, demux, re-encode and re-author you'd probably get the best result technically but whether anyone would notice the difference on home movies on a TV is debatable.

I know it's a silly question but can't you show them the Pal DVDs on a PC?...as in a laptop hooked up to the TV etc? Just a suggestion.
