What is the fastest way to hatch a chao egg in sonic adventure 2 (gamecube)?

i just started the game and I cant wait till my two chao eggs hatch i keep going through stages and getting animals and drives but my chaos are still eggs and im getting impatient

make sure youre putting them into that little grasy area with the coconuts, i think. i dont really know how long it takes =/

Time does not flow in the Chao garden unless you're actually in it. Stay in the Garden for a few minutes and the eggs will hatch.

DON'T THROW IT AT THE WALL! Your Chao will be unhappy if you do that.

If i remember correctly, if you throw the egg at the wall it will automatically hatch. But doing this causes your chao to be angry at you but that's the fastest way.

The fastest way to hatch an egg is just by throwing it on a wall. This doesn't cause your chao to be angry with you. I do it with every chao egg I get. You can also hold for a few 10s of seconds. That'll also make it hatch faster.
