What is the fastest way to improve your vertical jump?

I can grab rim but I would like to finally be able to dunk the ball. I know I'm still far away but I am willing to do some exercises an workouts to achieve my goal. No, I can't hit the gym. Are there any simple but effective workouts I can do around my house? Calf raises an lunges are all I do right now.

  1. use stairs run up stairs if you think bout it its like jumping you could also carrie something heavy also jump with something heavy that helps build leg muscle    


  2. If you have a sturdy stool or ottoman of some sort that stands a few feet off the ground, just practice jumping onto it and back off and back on, etc. You'll feel the burn, i promise.

  3. Try Air Alert. Its a jump program specifically targeted to increasing your vertical. I love it because you can do all the exercises with household items, but many of them don't require any at all. It's a 15 week program and by the time you have completed it, you will have gained between 8 and 14 inches on your vertical! (it improves your speed and endurance too!)
