Can somebody please let us know, if we refuse to submit the document? Can we send an objection notice to SIPCOT? Will we receive any letter from SIPCOT?

  1. Most (if not all) the DTCP approved land at Rajeswari Nager, Pillaipakkam Village is being acquired by SIPCOT at a low rate of compensation. Details of compensation can be found at: <>http://www.thehindu.com/2008/07/17/stori...

Also check http://www.sriperumbudur.in under the forum section /updates-for-plot-owners-at-sriperumpudu...

In answer to your question - what if you don't submit your document or respond? well, that is exactly what the SIPCOT expects and wants. Since only few persons object (since many are not aware, and also since few know what avenue to follow and so remain silent) therefore they claim that the objectors are only few in number compared to the majority of owners (actually the silent and ignorant majority). You can send an objection notice, but if you have not already sent one, then it is abit late now. But you can put your foot down and file a case asking for a better rate of compensation from the Government. Most layouts are being promoted around Sriperumbuddur at over Rs.700/sft .

If you are affected and don't agree to the compensation then post your comment in the above sriperumbudur.in forum. Hopefully if enough people come forward something can be done as a group.
