There is a lot of dirty laundry coming out for these companies.  Big money is waiting to pick these up later.  Daytraders are locking profits quickly on these, and not holding over night.

Technically it looks like they are having a slight retrace.  Watch yourself.  This is not an environment for the inexperienced hoping to get lucky.

I wouldn't touch Wamu at all because they are in trouble.  Banks make a ton of money on mortgages and if I remember correctly they completely sold off their mortgage operations.

Look at this from bankrate.com.  They have the ratings on how safe a bank is and Wamu got the absolute rating and is more likely to go under than other banks.  Score of 5 is bad.
