There are many people who don't drink, but there are no Irish people I ever heard of who don't like bitching about the weather.

Every conversation starts with the weather, then we start complaining about other things.

I'd vote moaning (in a nice way) the most favourite passtime on this Island.

In Ireland you have a highly education work force,with the majority of individuals at university,so socializing is a big one,reading, going to the pub,music,going to Mass.

Us Irish are the biggest movie goers in europe.Hope that answers your question.

a lot of people are in to GAA, clubbing, music, travelling, just relaxing with family and friends...we're an easy going bunch who know how to have fun and enjoy life :D
