My son is 11 months old now and I am planning on weaning him in the next 4-6 weeks. I have been trying to lose this nagging last 6 pounds. I know that once I stop nursing alltogether that I will have an even tougher time because I won't be using those 300-500 calories to produce milk. I work out for two hours 5 days a week: cardio and weight training. I am ready to cut calories, but not sure how much to scale back. Anyone have some personal experience with this?

  2. 1500-1800.  And your fat will drop off after you wean.  While nursing, your body stores your fat for the milk.

  3. IT DEPENDS ON YOUR BODY EVERYBODY BODY IS DIFFERENT SOME PEOPLE NEED ALOT OF CALORIES BECAUSE IT IS HARD FOR THEM TO PRODUCE MILK AND OTHERS DON'T NEED ALOT BECAUSE THEIR BODY PRODUCES MILK WITHOUT A PROBLEM YOUR DOCTOR WILL KNOW
