  1. 4

  2. The fewest number of moves necessary for a checkmate is 2, which several other people have answered correctly.

However, there have been several 'wins' at chess with zero moves. The most famous is probably Game 2 of the 1972 World Championship match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky.  Fischer lost Game 2 in zero moves, when he refused to play over a dispute in playing conditions.

Game 2 consisted of Spassky activating Fischer's clock.  Fischer did not show up for the game.  Fischer's time expired resulting in his famous zero move loss to Spassky.

  3. You can actually win a Chess game in 2 moves. You have to be Black to do it though. Whites first move is, King's Bishop's Pawn up 1 to f3. Black moves King's pawn up 1 or 2. White moves King's Knight's pawn up 2 to g4. Black moves Queen to h4, Checkmate

  4. three (3) and only if your opponent cooperates

No, I'm kidding. But I suck at chess and that's the only way I'd win.

    Good luck though, you...chess-player you.
