What is the film capital of Australia?

Hollywood is US film capital... so what about Australia... does anybody know?

There is a small movie studio with several sound stages in Brisbane on the Gold Coast where some movies are shot, and a 'universal studios' style amusement park. Australia offers a lot of tax breaks for movie studios who want to come there to film. There are also post production facilities in Sydney. But there really isnt a 'Hollywood' there.

A lot of movies are shot at Movie world on the Gold Coast they use the beaches on the gold coast for Scenes in series. They use locations all over Australia . So we don't have a Hollywood here.

There are two main areas in Australia where movie making is done:

Fox Studios in Sydney; and

Warner Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast. MovieWorld is also on the studio property.

We haven't got a film capital here, a lot of t.v. series are shot in Melbourne or Sydney like cop shows or neighbours others are done in the studios, movies are made all over the country depending on the story, water cop shows are done mainly in Queensland where the weather seems to be better in the winter months and the beaches are less crowded.
