  1. Index finger at the second fret on strings 1 through 4, what is called a partial barre.  It's a one-finger chord, easy-peasey.

    The 4th, 3rd, and 2nd strings at the second fret constitute a regular A major chord, and the 1st string, second fret (F#) is the 6th.
