  2. The autumn equinox occurs at 12:55 am. Eastern Daylight Time on the morning of September 23, 2008. But that is 11:55 pm in the evening of Central Daylight time on September 22. In the Mountain and Pacific time zones fall also starts on the 22nd ( 10:55 and 9:55 daylight savings time.)

  3. the 23rd or 22nd I think

  4. The first day of autumn is based on the fall equinox, the day in the fall when the length of day and night are the same.  This varies slightly each year but occurs about September 21, give or take a day.

  5. Sept 1- Nov 30
