What is the first degree in Aikido?

i want to know what the first degree that a person get in Aikido?

i have heard both 30th Kyu and 6th Kyu.

It varies from school to school, but sixth or seventh Kyu is standard.

30th Kyu would be really strange. I've never heard of such a thing. That would be with a lot of colors in between belts and little bars in between. Not very traditional.

6th kyu is the first grading you do if at least you follow the aikikai standard
