Is it severe cramps, are they on the side or the middle? Is lower back pain for days a bad sign? I haven't had any bleeding, or cramps but very sore lower back for a few days now. Also, can your little baby die in there and you not know?

  1. i can only answer from experience, when i had my miscarriage there was spotting, then i got bad cramping where i was doubled in 2 then the bleeding got heavier with lots of clotting. Don't think lower back pain should be anything to worry about x

  2. Cramps, accompanied by blood.

The baby can die without you knowing, but most of the time you will have a misc. if this happens... with a lot of blood.

Best to see your gino asap if you are in doubt!

  3. "Can your little baby die in there and you not know?"

Yes, it can.  That happened to me in July of this year.  They call it a missed miscarriage.

As for the signs of a miscarriage that isn't missed, they are sever cramping (a little is normal), bleeding (more than a little spotting), etc.

    I hope this helps.

  4. Lower back pain or mild cramps are common during early pregnancy. First sign of a miscarriage is generally blood. It can start off as spotting and gradually become very heavy or it can just start heavy. Generally there are a lot of clots with a miscarriage and a lot of cramping, like severe period cramps.
