  13. Not sane. Then again, what determines what is sane?

  14. Insane: 1) An old common law legal term to describe a person whose behavior is either offensive, not understood, or perceived as dangerous to another person or a community of people. 2) A term used to described misunderstood or unusual behavior or thinking that is upsetting to a perceiver. 3) A term used to stigmatize, condemn, slander or damage a person not liked. 4) A term no longer acceptable in any psychiatric or therapeutic mental health environment.

And my cynical favorite: A term used by the psychologically ignorant.

As a mental health professional and mental health advocate, I have become profoundly amazed of how crippling this term can be with people, who have mental health challenges. It is also interesting to note that most schizophrenics have higher than average IQ's and bipolar sufferers are some of our most creative musicians, artists, writers, and performers.

Check out the second link and discover how many famous schizophrenics you know! PS they are not  "insane!"
