  1. Don't laugh I knew the minute I was pregnant (my hubby didn't believe me but I proved I was right)

But the first thing I bought was a Teddy Bear. I don't know why but I felt my baby needed one. Now they have ones that make sounds that's suppose to make soothing sounds for your unborn baby. Congrats by the way and enjoy. (And I was only 4 weeks along when I bought the Bear)

  2. My husband has brought a crib and im only 11 weeks

  3. Its definitely not to early, I started buying diapers at 13 weeks :)

  4. Once I found out the s*x...I would start shopping like crazy

  5. no its not to early at all. haha i am 27 weeks and i started getting ready for the baby as soon as i could. I figure its alot easier to do what i can now instead of doing it all later with my big belly in the way and on swollen feet.

  6. I went to goodwill and bought tons of footy pj's and onesie tshirts. Newborns don't care if their clothes are top of the line.  As long as they are clean.  Second hand stores are great because you get the clothes for cheap, and then when the baby spits up or grows out of them then you aren't out much money.  Matter of fact kids of any age, until they get into school, don't really care about the brand name of clothing.

  7. First thing we bought was a Padres Jersey.  We're having a girl, but I can't wait to take her to games!  I haven't bought anything else, but I'm having a shower on the 14th of September, so after that I can figure out what else I need.

  8. I bought baby booties first. No its not too early. You got to do it when you think of it, when you have money and when you have time! Its a small sense of relief every time you buy something.

  9. the first thing i bought when i was preg, was a baby book, and i was about 6-8 weeks, but then after 15 weeks, i started shoppin like a mad woman!! but the baby book was the very first thing for all four of my bbies. good luck . i dont think it's to early for you, so go!!!!  and enjoy it !!

  10. Nope, not to early.  Once your past the first trimester, go for it.  I am 26 weeks.  Have some clothes and toys already.  A changing table and others have bought some things.  It's so exciting though!!   But the first thing I bought, when we found out it was a boy was a little train outfit.

  11. Nah... go ahead.  You're well past the first trimester.  I bought a stroller when I was about 20 weeks at a garage sale.

  12. We went shopping & registered like a day after we found out our first little boy was on his way! Even before we knew he was a he my hubby bought him a sweet little stuffed dog. Then it kinda became tradition w/ each new baby came a little stuffed animal. Our second son has a lion, and our new guy got a duck. Of course we bought the typical hospital picture outfit & going home outfit. Have fun!

  13. I bought him a little white outfit - I bought it at 12 weeks. I just felt like I needed something tangible. 23 weeks is not too early - I am setting up my son's nursery now and I am 22 weeks.

  14. No way, you can shop whenever you want!

The first thing I started buying was those onesies, and socks...mittens etc.

  15. i couldn't help it, i bought finding nemo booties when i was in the first trimester.. haha no i don't think it's to early.

  16. A shirt, blanket and baby book

  17. At about 7 weeks we bought some cute baby shoes on sale and a t shirt.  At 10 weeks my mom bought us a travel system.

  18. No its never to early to shop for your baby.  I bought unisex clothes when I was only 10weeks.  I ended up getting tons of clothes though at my shower.  Picture frames are always good though!

  19. If you see it and you think you need it or want it, go ahead! It will really get you pumped up for the baby! Its definetly not to early, you're what, like more than half way there! Also, this way you can buy only when things are on sale if you want to save some money. If diapers go on sale you can  stock up! Dont try to buy EVERYTHING now though.. remember to have a baby shower and you will get things!

  20. Gosh your that far already wow !! I am so happy for you dear. My first thing I got was some clothes. Little outfits . Then I would look and them and could not wait to use them !! Take care dear and God bless you . By the way do you know what your having???

  21. Have fun with it! Do you know the s*x? I bought both of my kids an outfit the day that I found out the s*x. But if you don't know yet, you can always buy a blanket since they usually go either way. I loved shopping while I was pregnant, it makes the anticipation of the baby coming so much more intense! Congrats...go crazy and buy whatever you want! :)

  22. Go for  it. But if you buy anything big, dont open it until after you have your baby shower, I was anxious and assembled the travel system when I bought it at around 20 weeks, then got another i liiked better at my shower 3 weeks ago, and because I opened the first one I cant take it back to the store. We also put together a PINK pack-n-play the day after the shower and this past friday found out we're havin a boy!lol

  23. for my nieces and nephews its always the same receiving blankets and sleepers. By the way CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  24. aww we bought our first outfit the day we found out we were having a little girl!!! I LOVE IT

    GOD BLESS

  25. i brought my sons first blanket i was bout 2months preg hehe

  26. a car...it is an irish tradition to buy cars for your children before they are born

  27. I don't think that's too early.  I bought a stuffed animal at the zoo the day after I got a positive home pregnancy test.
