Is it also true that only 1500 Town Cars with the Fixed sun roof where produced that year as the guy i'm buying it from is trying to tell me?

Sunroofs have some sort of transparent glass, usually tinted,  to let the sunlight shine through.  A moonroof refers to a panel that opens on the roof, usually painted the same color of the exterior, which blocks all light once it is closed.
