probably mosquito's... but idk i live in canada... to many mosquito's. and u have never seen a fly?! hehehe let em in ur garbage for like a week without opening it and see what happens...

they could be cicadas (sp) they come out every seven years. during the seven years, they are underground, waiting to come. when i was a kid, we went to ohio for a funeral and the cemetery was COVERED in them.... they made a humming sound and everywhere you went, you crunched them under your feet. wow, that was 21 years ago! i am old.
