  1. The problem isn't that you don't have the correct font, but that you haven't enabled support for east-asian languages. You don't say which operating system you are using.

    Assuming you are using Windows XP then:

    Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Languages

    and select Install files for East Asian languages. You will need your original Windows XP CD.
