For example: If my chances of winning are 33%, what percent chance do I have of losing 8 times in a row?

  1. If your probability of winning is .33 then the chances of losing all 8 outcomes is  0.000140641.  .33 to the 8th power.


  2. Well, In your example it's 0.66^8=0,036 (that is 3,6%).(0.66 = the possibility to lose once.Since you want ALL 8 times to lose you multiply 1st after the 2nd etc)

    Always remember that there are 2 ways of calculating a possibility.1 is directly and 2 is calculate the possibility that this thing will not happen and subtract the result from 100%
