What is the formula for the above question & what is the formula for finding

the number of the day in a year e.g. February, 28, 2008 is 59th day of that year, like this i want these formulas, kindly help......

the formula to get the number of the day of the year is datedif()

to get the number 59

- in cell A1 type a date 2/28/2008

- in cell B1 copy&paste this formula

=DATEDIF(DATE(2007,12,31),A1,"d")

then as you change A1, it will give you the number of days in 2008

the source has a website that might help.

notice on the very bottom, where it talks about birthdays.  you can use a concatenate formula in 1 cell to make it say what you want.
