What is the formula to get net salary out of gross salary in Vietnam?

I just wanna know how much money I will get into my pocket since in the contract is written gross salary. I Vietnam please

Hi there

The first 8 million VND is tax free. You will pay 10% tax on everything you earn over 8 million VND - including allowances like an accommodation allowance. There's a whole thread on tax in Vn on Dave's ESL Cafe Website,  which you can access through your Yahoo search facility.

Incomme tax for expat and Vietnamese is not the same. For Vietnamese satff, it starts from 5 millions
