Degrees are levels of academic excellence. To be a graduate, you are supposed to have studied 15years. Then by learning for two more years you can be a Post Graduate. Then in any subject of your excellence, if you are capable of establishing a theory or principle, then you are given the Supreme recognistion called " doctor of philosophy" written in abbreviation as Ph.D. This is the ultimate degree in any branch of learning.
