  2. Bile duct : Bile is produced in the liver and stored in the gall bladder. The bile duct is a small vessel connecting the gall bladder with the small intestine. Bile passes from the gall bladder to the small intestine for its role in emulsifying fats/lipids for digestion.

    Pancreatic duct: Pancreatic duct connects the pancreas and small intestine. Pancreatic enzymes pass to the small intestine for digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids.
