Question:

What is the function of water in our bodies?

Obviously, it hydrates us. But does it travel in our blood stream or something? And how does it travel around and what exactly in our bodies does it hydrate? Thanks in advavce!

  1. Yes, water makes up part of our blood.  It also works in our organs to complete major metabolic processes (basically all the pathways in our body that allow us to function.)  If we did not have water, not only would our blood be able to travel through our bodies, but we would be unable to undergo any processes that make us living.  Maybe a little confusing... but I hope hit helps a bit.
