When I was younger,  I worked in a nursing home.  The top  I wore closed with snaps.  One of the residents family members was drop dead gorgeous.  I was coming out of his Grandmothers room and he was in the hall waiting.  My shirt got caught on the doors latch and ripped all the way open.  I was so embarrassed, but it was so funny.  We all laughed  about it, including him,  for a good year after wards.  He did ask me out several times after that happened.  But I was married and he just didn't quite understand that.

Having dinner with the celebrated reclusive American writer and poet Linda J Cirillo. The woman was making egg salad. I said to her that it takes 12 minutes to boil [one] egg in boiling water untill it is hard. The woman had10 eggs to boil and then proceeded to boil the eggs for 2 hours. In reality she only had to boil ALL the eggs for no more than 13 minutes. It was only nearly after an hour when I realised that something was wrong when she herself realised her mistake.
