What is the funnest volunteer work that you have done?

well i volunteered at something called santa snaps, they made me sit on his lap lol, it was fun and some of the kids were so adorable, but some would get freaked out and start crying

I think for me was when I volunteer my time with children's field trips in school. We went to a Museum and the people had showed the kids a record from back when and ask the kids if they know what it was. That was very funny, some said it was a dog Frisbee. some said a black donut. there was so many funny answers. the best one was the Frisbee.

Working at CEDAR SINAI MEDICAL CENTER. it was a joy to know that i was bringing a smile to people's faces and i didn't even mind that i wasn't getting paid

Teaching a computer course for adults.  They were totally ignorant of computers, but they actually wanted to learn; it was very refreshing.

community service.the place i had to go was full of perverts and this old guy thought he could talk me in to cooking pot roast for him and the guys ha played poker with.i made like. i was ready to leave for lunch ,but i left and never went back.that was a pot roast him and his friends never tasted and a fine never paid

I have ton my share of volunteer work, I really enjoyed going to the soup kitchens, just talking to the people as I served them was very rewarding. Also as a youth group we started a Pb&J gang and would make sanwiches until are hands were ready to fall off and then brought them into the city and handed them out to the homeless. I also raked leaves for the elder, which was fun but very exhausting.

With people from my work we sang carols to people at a retirement home and while we were singing to the old folks and suddenly a pack of barking dogs burst into the room and this crazy old lady started screaming and cursing the dogs.  You just had to be there.

For me the funnest volunteer work was in a Elementary school...not ony was it so much fun, but it was also a great experience.

Volunteering at my local SPCA animal shelter and my local Beagle Rescue.

I volunteer at the zoo every saturday. It's probably the most fun volunteer work I have ever done! It's great, I get to teach guests things, and help with animals... I luv working with the penguins, it was really funny this one time, a different volunteer actually fell into the penguin pool! It was hilarious, another time, someone asked the zookeeper I was with how many penguins there are, and she said, "16, sometimes I feel like a mormon grandma!" Just great, really some of the best experiences of my life have happened there.

I went to Honduras on a missions trip and met some of the most wonderful, and loving people in the world. i go back soon, and i am incredibly excited. I definately left part of my heart there.

This may not count but I was in Iraq for only 12 months before serving my country. They said i shouldnt because I lived in california, but I did. When I came back,I did more volunteer work such as clean-up jobs at public schools and help out at the library  for credits when I went back to school again.
