  21. I was looking through the phone book one day for funny names (as you do...) and came across Mr.Bumphrey (bum-free). I don't know if anybody else finds it funny but I wet myself.

    I once read in the Guinness Book Of World Records that somebody changed their name to Russel Sprout.

  23. I once worked for a man named Harry Peters in Denver, CO.

    Never forget the "First Lady of Texas,"  Ima Hogg.  

    She endeavored to downplay her unusual name by signing her first name illegibly and having her stationery printed with "I. Hogg" or "Miss Hogg". Although it was rumored that Hogg had a sister named "Ura Hogg", she had only brothers.
