Though the retail business was in India since ages, the real boom has started about 5-6 years back. Now it has covered only 25% of the population, and confined to Metros and tair 2 Cities. Even there it reached only the affluents.

As the purchasing power with the people has grown and growing at very fast phase, the remaining 75% market is yet to be tapped.  Hence you can expect excellent growth in this sector for next 15 - 20 years. The job front also has to grow proportionately.

very great as i heard that the growth of retail indudtries has been increasing day by day. and country will need thousands of retail representatives and managers in the years to come.
