science goes where mankind takes it. right now, we are taking it up. hopefully religion doesn't get in the way, and bring it back down.

who knows what lies in the future... light speed travel.... mars colinization.... cure for cancer.... the possibilities are endless because mankind is probably the most curious species on the planet earth.

If we were alive in future someone could already travel are time. Then that means we die 2012.

People will say that we've learned everything that there is to learn many more times, and be wrong. This will continue to be true even if a grand unified field theory is discovered. Science will go on much as it is, and much more will be discovered.

In a hundred billion years from now, there will be no cosmic microwave background radiation to discover.  Scientists may no longer have credible evidence for the Big Bang.  It's a long way off.
