  1. Those older 2-strokes liked a 32:1 mixture. I run an old 2-stroke Lawn Boy on 50:1 with the latest synthetic oil. Use it on my 40:1 weedwacker and my 50:1 snowblower and leaf blower.

  2. In an older engine it is a good idea to err on the side of too much oil.  If you are working the engine hard, such as running an inflatable, I have used as much as 20 to 1.  It will smoke a little, however, the engine will last longer.  If all you are doing is trolling, the a higher ratio of 35 to one will work fine, I like the synthetic oil, the motor seems to work better, but that is just my opinion.

  3. 50-1  gas to oil

  4. 50 to 1

thats 16 oz of tcw-3 oil to 6 gallons of gas

  5. Believe it or not it is 100 to 1. But my mechanic said that gasoline used to be slipperier back then, and recommended 50 to 1.
