What is the giant metal bird outside of the Dublin Trinity College Library called?

It is a statue that is shaped like a bird. It is inside the campus of Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. It is just outside of the library in which the Book of Kells is located.

It is a sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro called 'Sphere with Sphere' (1982-83).

Haha, I have always thought it looked like a bird too. It is called 'Cactus". There is a little plaque set in the ground in front of it with the name and the name of the artist.

The sphere within sphere is a different one in front of the Berkeley library.
