  1. Go phone arer pohones that you go into the store pay $20 with no contract and get out. You pay 15 cents for each text, 25 cents a minute.

  2. Go Phone is what AT&T (formerly Cingular) calls their pre-paid service. It is a good service if you just want the phone for emergency use or just a few calls here and there. If you are a daily phone user, you will be spending more in the long run than a post paid plan. Post paid plans are better because you get more minutes for less cost, rather than 25cents a minute like the  go phone charges.

  3. A go phone is a cellular phone where you buy a air time card *they can be found at some pharmacies such as Rite-Aid, you can also get them at the wireless provider's store i.e. the AT&T store* You then call the number on the back of the card from your go phone and follow the prompt from there.

  4. Yes, you are just paying for the phone itself and then you have to continuously by minutes. It's only good for people who only use their phone for emergencies. If you actually plan to TALK on your phone, then just try to get a decent monthly plan. If $$ is the issue - you'll end up spending more on the minutes than you would on a monthly bill, except that you aren't contracted and it won't ruin your credit if you give up the phone.

  5. that's easy....its a pre-paid cell phone....first you have to activate the phone, which is a pain in the neck....then buy airtime....and go!!! In the beginning it was cingular slogan "go-phone" but its kinda pricey per minute!!
