What is the goal of effective communication? Discuss the communication process, include the process model, and give a personal example of a miscommunication that you have been involved in; explain the barriers to effective communication that were at work and your recommendations for overcoming them.

  2. The goal of effective communication is to have a well working team.

    to have effective communication it needs 3 parts, the sender the message and the reciever. If only one of these parts are missing there is NO communication.

    Miscommunication would be when your message is recieved improperly misunderstood or twisted in the delivery process.

    example.

    Lets say:

    I made a remark about someone off hand. It was taken by a second person twisted and made to sound offensive which was not the intent

    the person the remark was made about became irritated, angry and combative.

    The middleman should have been left out and the remark should have been directed at the person who is now upset and for no real reason as the remark was not offensive but rather an observation that could have been constructive rather than distructive.
