  1. Wow melhanie, can I come babysit for you? LOL....

In my area sitters get about $6-7 per hour than another dollar or two per child after the first one. For my three kids I pay 8-10 per hour depending on which sitter I hire.

If your going to be babysitting for more than just an eveing out, more like a regular weekly job, then the rate will probably work out to a little less per hour, but you'll be making steady money.

  2. 5.00 per hour

  3. It depends on alot of things, but on average abou 7-8 dollars per hour.

  4. The average wage for babysitting is $5-$10 per hour, plus $5 for each additional child.

  5. Depends on you.  I would charge, by the day with a three day equal a week rule.  I charge 125 or more per week ( i quit)

per child with a slight discount for second child in same family.  I have a contract...I get paid all year, and I get a paid vacation period as well.  150 sounds more adequate for the current economy.

Per hour, 10$...per day 50.(per child of course)

  6. 20 an hour for 2 children, then up 5 or 10 for each extra child
