I live in Canada so answer in canadian dollars if you can please lol.

I am starting a tack cleaning service and I am not really sure what the going rate is for that?

Does this sound about right....

$10 for a saddle

$8 for a bridle (with bit)

$5 for a saddle pad

$5 for a pair of horse boots (per pair)

Do you think that is reasonable? Would you pay it?

  1. Yes, that sounds like a very fair price.

  2. i clean my tack myself.

    i would think most do?

    they are good prices though.

  3. Well....I live in the UK and I'm not sure of the conversion rate but I'd be prepared to pay:

£5 for a thorough clean of my bridle, include oil (taken apart and reassembled)

£3 for my saddle (saddles are easy to clean)

I pay £4 to have my numnahs/saddlecloths washed and dried

I'd pay £5 to have 4 brushing boots washed and dried (synthetic) or the same amount for someone to clean and oil my leather XC boots

    Hope I helped!

  4. i think the price is good if you don't want to do it yourself, but if you want to clean your own tack you can get saddle soap at walmart for 6.99 and clean your own tack. http://tonyonehorse.weebly.com
