What is the going rate for the tooth fairy?

a few years ago I was getting $2 a tooth. It totally depends on your parents budget though and how fast you loose teeth!

When I was a kid, I got like a nickel or quarter, however I guess inflation struck..haha  I gave my kids 5 dollars for the first tooth, then after that anywhere from a dollar to two dollars..Most people say Im crazy, but now days they cant even buy anything with a couple of dollars..My daughter loves quarters though, so one time I gave her like 5 or 6 quarters and she used it to play the games at WalMart. haha  Good luck..:o)

rest are $2-3

and if they lose two teeth the same day $10 thats how i got it.

Varies with time and place... when I was a kid, I got a quarter. My kids got a dollar. I think a dollar is still pretty standard, but some tooth fairies are very generous. I've heard of five dollars.

On the other hand, you don't want to encourage the little mercenary to pull out all of his or her teeth just to get the cash... :)

If anyone is telling their kid the tooth fairy brings money  is s******g up the kid as he gets older. He will think he doesn't have to work for anything  because the tooth fairy and Santa will give him whatever he needs.  Come on people give these kids a break and stop lying to them.

Tell them if they lose their teeth  mommy or daddy will leave them 1.00 or 2.00 under their pillow.
