What is the going rate (per shift) for a residential social worker (children) undertaking a sleep in?

  3. I don't know in London, but for Manchester City council the sleep is 12pm ~ 11pm then 7.30am ~ 12.30pm, so 16 hours, then the sleep in flat fee on top.

    16 hours at between £8 and £15 per hour depending on increment. The sleep in pay is around the region of £25.

    I know in your hand after tax a sleep is about £180.00.  And you get more for being qualified, so possibly higher.
