What is the good thing about Home-Schooling?

what is the bad?

i want to be home-schooled virtually (on the computer) because i cannot stand going to school. Im just wandering. Oh and how much does a regular standard homeschooling by computer?

im going into 8th grade next year

The main thing (daughter homeschools her kids) is the personal interaction with the children by the parents. She knows what her kids are learning, and can weed out the stuff she would not want them learning at this young age in public school. They have never gone to public school, so it may be different for you. I hope you do it and that it works for you and your parent.

1) No Peer pressure

2) No homework

3) work at your own pace

4) More free time

5) More social life

6) School is not a set time

7) No nagging teachers

8) relaxed atmosphere

9) You can play hooky and still make up for it

10) No tardy slips

THat is only a few and to me there are no bad ones!

The good things r

1 u r free from peer pressure

2 u ve more time to pursue ur special interests and talents

3 u can become an independent thinker who is secure in their ur convictions.

4 ur education can be tailored to ur interests, pace n learning style

but i dont really like homeschooling

If u don't like ur skool, change it!

A school with a great gym, a nice telescope and and some other cool science gadgets, a darkroom, good computers, a great media center, etc. is better than a school with none of these resources!!

Homeschooling limits access to extra curricular activities like sports/drama/music

It also limits social opportunities
