What is the good thing of working in a bank ?

i went ot know the Pro's and the Con's of working in a bank?

  1. IT MUST TO BE HARD TO TAKE MONEY YOU DON`T HAVE

    Good benefits if you are full time.

    National holidays off with pay - about 10 days per year in U.S.

    Usually a lot of nice co-workers.

    Cons:

    Most positions have sales goals which may be stressful.

    Have to act pleasant all day toward customers.

    Have to spend money on work appropriate attire.

  3. Building up immunity to disease through handling germ laden money all day.

    Sitting down for prolonged periods putting on weight.

    Staring at figures all day.

    Being nice to people you don't know or don't like.

    Trying to explain nicely why the bank is ripping someone off.

    Taking abuse from the ones whom the bank is ripping off.

    Worrying that the bank will do a 'Northern Rock'.

    Trying to meet targets that are entirely beyond your control.

    etc., etc.

  4. You get to know the interest rates before anyone else

    You can be brain dead and still get promoted.

    You can buy everything you want in BHS.

  7. you get to handle money with everybody in towns germs on it...just think,,,if there is a disease out there,you will have the chance to get it..but it does say something about your character that those people will trust you to work with money

  8. Funny you asked this, as i spent a good hour talking about this in the pub with my mates yesterday, my mate Rich works in a major bank, and he says he hates it with a passion. He got DEMOTED after 7 years cos hes missed his "targets" for the last 6 months. And he says that he will always miss them, because he gives people good advice, as hed feel guilty giving an old lady a loan if she didnt really need it.

    He said they are just like any other retailer, you have to sell a product to people, all the staff hate each other cos its a contest for signatures and the selling of loans and credit cards..

    Anyway.. hes done it for 7 years and he said he hates it more than anything!

    You get extra holidays and meet and help  a lot of people with lots of money or none at all . Learning  a lot about people's behaviour and temperaments because money plays such a big role in our lives. Learning about International currencies and monetary trends if you are a keen employee.  in the power of  giving a smile to your customers.
