  1. There are many non profit organizations like the WWF but the US Fish and Wildlife is the Federal gov'ts and there are also state and local gov't protection agencies


  2. Tiger's is symbol of power & speed, helps in stopping deforestation.

    But in many countries Tigers are Poached brutially for minting the money. As the Tiger's skin is used many country for kings as symbol of power ( Tibbet as one of this) and it's bones are used for Traditional medicines etc.

    As case as reported by Discovery : In India to reververd forest wild life century at Panna  and Sariska. Where Tiger poaching is done by organised Gangs to the verge of their extiction.
