  1. WHAT?

  2. Yep and don't forget the aerogard....insect repellent.

  3. i went there twice in high school. in yr 7 it was such a bad experience that the grade begged not to go back, but then again in the seniour year they dragged us back there.

the food sucked and u had to bring your own mess kit, and wash the bloody thing... i mean hello, we paid 150 bucks for 2 days to wash our own plate??

the activities were alright, nothing to rave about though. the giant swing was the best thing.

if your in a young grade your most likely going to stay in these semi permanant tents.

watch out, as the condensation will drip onto you and your sleeping bag.

if your older say yr 11 or 12, then u may stay in cabins. these were pretty basic, but far better than the tents,

    good luck!

  4. They're bullsh*tting you. The showers are OK but are in separate amenities blocks and there's not much privacy. Cabins are also OK though not luxurious. Food is reasonable and there's plenty of it - lots of BBQs which are pretty good. Awesome location.

  5. It is awesome cause there are no showers or if you are lucky maybe a cold shower.Toilet under a bush somewhere or if it is number two take a shovel and dig dig dig !!! In all reality I don't think you would get a cabin, more likely a tent with sleeping bags etc.Very nice camp fires under the stars.Food is also usually good out of the can/tin.However,it is a great experience and I am sure that you would love it.The atmosphere is usually good and there should be a great bunch of people and other campers.Make sure you bring plenty of insect repellent cause there might be some biting insects.Take a torch with you and basic things.

I have been to one of these bush camps and they had no showers etc.Maybe you are referring to a proper camping ground. If that is the case then they got everything you need. However, generally camping in the bush means roughing it a little bit.Places I have been to include Moreton Island National Park,Frasier Island,NT-Litchfield National Park.

  6. Camping generally means tent under the trees. Food cooked on an open fire, toilet in a hole in the ground, shower in the river, etc. etc.

Cabins are not in the equation, your slumping it, not living in luxury.

  7. Traditional Aussie bush camp..........No showers...No cabins.....No toilets,,,,,,,,bring ya tent and bring ya shovel,,,its the best time you will ever have,,make sure ya eskys full of tucker and the second one full of cold grog,,,and lots of it !!!!..........love camping    !
