What is the greatest country on earth and why?

Okay on the colbert report yesterday colbert showed clips of sean hannity saying america was the "greatest best country on the face of the earth" i have to say i agree but what do u think?

The US of A... why... just read The Constitution... sadly the US is in a terminal state because so few hold to The Constitution...... Adio America... a Noble experiment.

Hands down, its the USA. Its far from perfect,  and after how many years still a work in progress but its the only country i'd rather live in.

Canada, because no one hates it (like people hate the US), it doesn't go to war over oil and lie to their citizens (like the US government did), it is not run by a buffoon who put the country into trillions of debt and is probably the worst world leader ever (like the US). Canada's crime rates are low, our health care is great, and we're very multicultural with no racist rednecks living in the south (like the US). Also Canada is the second largest country with a vast variety of geographic features, making it the most beautiful in the world. Add in a high standard of living, with high employment and education rates and you've got the greatest country on Earth.

Ok everyone knows its the US for all the right reasons but , the thought of lying under a palm tree in Tahiti sipping a mai tai, listening to the waves crash on the shore  is surfacing in my mind now too.  Ahhhh

The U.S is the best because it is economically good it offers money to many country's and helps all the Other countries problems. The life and work is better offering more pay. The roads are big making it easier for people to go around. Europe comes second offering a little more help and the way of life is harder then in the U.S.
