  1. Wow!  This sounds cool!  How were you able to see it from a far view?  It sounds like a real energy thing.  I've never had an experience like this before so I apologise that I cannot offer you any help from personal experience.  And although this might sound a little too new-age for some tastes or slightly fantastical, this website - http://www.experiencefestival.com/a/Chak... - offers the following information of the "forehead chakra".  Even if one doesn't believe in "chakras" it is still interesting enough:

"The sixth chakra is located at the third eye (mid-forehead) and is indigo (deep purply/blue). This chakra is associated with thought (though some say the third chakra governs thought) and with vision, particularly psychic vision. It is also the chakra of spiritual love and connection."

And of an equally alternative nature is the following information obtained from this website - http://www.angelfire.com/realm2/amethyst... - referring to green auras.  Again, whether one agrees with it or not, which either way is fine, it is still fun to read:

"Greens are balanced, harmonious, and peaceful personalities. They need harmony in their life and prefer to live in a natural environment. They are the most balanced people in the color spectrum. They also have a powerful connection with nature." -- and so on.

And here are some websites on "kundalini" (from themystica.com: "kundalini is ... energy of consciousness ... thought to reside within the sleeping body ...") that might be of interest for their references to energy and sensations/experiences related to energy that you may recognise:

    www.spiritual.com.au/articles/healing/...

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kundalini_yoga

    www.experiencefestival.com/kundalini

All the very best of luck!  :)

  2. Eyes upward towards the bindu point helps kundalini flow upwards...well discovered!  If the energy gets uncomfortable, keep the tip of your tongue pressed against where your upper front teeth meet your gums, it helps.

The funny wriggling tension feeling is your brow chakra activating, which improves visuals.  Don't overdo it, but get as familiar with the sensation as you can.

The ball can be any of a number of colours - for me it's electric indigo.  It can grow to fill almost your entire visual field.  If you start visualising, you may find that the imagery is only visible through the colour, like it's a portal - which it is, you can pop through it with practice.  Not sure exactly what it is, but a mental model that seems useful is that it's your third eye viewing itself.

  3. when u meditate, after a while you learn how to put yourself in a certain state of mind, freeing u of your conscious reality, and some people have gifts to see aura's.

I feel it like u but it comes out of the back of my neck, and right below my heart. I can't explain it..lol

I do know that I am in a trance like state, and I can do it at the snap of a finger, but it takes a minute or so to get me out of it, but I don't have a gift to see aura's. sorry if I am really wrong.

edit: I just thought of this, are you astral projecting my friend? I hear if you get that feeling, don't get scared just fall.

but I wouldn't be driving while doing it? lol

wow Tom seems like he's right on the money pit !!!!

  4. Cool!

Have you read Philip k d**k? He had a PINK BEAM coming out of his forehead!

  5. Here is your REAL answer. When you close your eyes, first the rods and cones in there that allow you to use light to see begin to cool down, but arent there right away and they continue to send signals to your brain via the optic nerve. The brain interprets these "empty" signals differently in each person. Most often, people report seeing colors. When you rroll your eyes up or to the side, the muscles strain a bit and actually compress your eyeballs just a bit making the "empty" signal colors more brilliant. Mosy people report seeing the colors shape into a circle after straining their eyes when they are closed. That's you seeing your retina from the back. I hope this helps.

  6. The Devil, the Evil One, the Fallen One, The Prince of Darkness (whichever name you like)

    Psi

  7. Sounds like you have been meditating.  When I am trying to sleep or relax I concentrate on an imagined point of focus that I mentally choose to render as a fuzzy and slightly opaque ball.  Doing so allows my mind to relax.  However, I have never been under the impression the ball actually exists or that I'm really leaving my body.  That's because meditation is fantasy and self-hypnosis.

  8. This is really a question that only you can answer, but I will give you some impressions.

When you enter the meditative state, you seem to be focusing a great deal of attention on the spot on your forehead.  Your increased focus on that spot is focusing your energies to that one point.  You are likely building up energies there and percieving it as a "ball of light".  When you say you are "seeing" this, I'm assuming that you are not looking with your eyes, but rather seeing it in your mind's eye.  It is something that is more likely eminating from within you than coming from outside of you.

Your description of seeing the ball from afar is reminicent of either dissociation (look it up) or possibly astral travel where your perceptive focus has left your physical body.

If your goal is lucid dreaming, you seem to be heading in the right direction.  Some people might say that you are opening your "third eye" which is to say that you are activating the Ajna which is an integrating chakra in the center of your forehead. Achieving this, in and of itself, will not result in lucid dreaming, but it can help you to develop a greater awareness of the energies of your body and of the world around you.

Lucid dreaming may happen naturally once your awareness increases and once you are more in touch with your subconcious mind.  There are also some other skills that you can develop through the dicipline of meditation or self-hypnosis which will help you travel more directly toward your goal.  Do some additional research on "how to achieve awareness in your dreams".  You'll find that the information is out there, and it will become available to you when you are ready for it.

I hope this information was helpful, and remember, you are the only one who can answer this question accurately.
