What is the grey stuff that comes out of your mouth when you talk and it's cold?

  1. That would be your breath vapour. The air is much colder outside than your breath is inside. The water in your breath condenses into fog when it hits the cold air.

    In warm air, the water does not condense and freeze, so you don't see it.


  2. The moisture/water vapor condensing from the cooler temperature.  Remember that low temperatures cause water to go from gas to liquid to solid.
